As a Community Outreach Specialist, you'll engage directly with community members, share the mission behind important charitable initiatives, and help increase awareness through meaningful outreach and community-focused promotions. This Community Outreach Specialist opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy connecting with people, representing causes that make a difference, and creating positive experiences within the community. Every Community Outreach Specialist plays a key role in expanding awareness, strengthening engagement, and supporting promotions that help nonprofit organizations reach their goals. Responsibilities of the Community Outreach Specialist Represent our nonprofit partner through community engagement initiatives and outreach activities Participate in promotions that increase awareness of charitable programs, campaigns, and community impact Share information about nonprofit initiatives in a professional, engaging, and approachable manner Build relationships with community members through meaningful conversations and positive interactions Support outreach promotions designed to expand community involvement and participation Track engagement activity and provide feedback that helps strengthen future promotions Collaborate with fellow Community Outreach Specialist team members to support outreach goals and promotional initiatives Maintain a positive and professional presence while representing nonprofit campaigns and promotions throughout the community Qualifications of the Community Outreach Specialist High school diploma or GED preferred Interest in community outreach, nonprofit engagement, public relations, or promotions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable speaking with diverse groups of people in face-to-face settings Professional attitude and strong work ethic Ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly Previous experience in customer service, community outreach, promotions, fundraising, or brand ambassador roles is helpful but not required Reliable transportation to our Blue Ash, OH office location
