Driver's License Full Job Description SCOPE:
The Outreach Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing CMHA's mission by connecting residents to supportive services offered through the Resource Opportunities Center (ROC). This position is responsible for proactive, door-to-door engagement, educating residents, and fostering participation in programs that enhance quality of life. This role reflects CMHA's commitment to integrity, accountability, respect, and exceptional service by building trust with residents, meeting them where they are, and promoting equitable access to resources. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and able to effectively engage individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of readiness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Conduct door-to-door outreach in Winton Terrace and Findlater Gardens to educate residents on services available through the ROC, ensuring information is communicated clearly and respectfully. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with residents, service providers, and community partners, demonstrating CMHA's values of respect and customer-focused service. Schedule and coordinate resident appointments, assessments, and referrals with service providers, ensuring timely follow-up and continuity of care. Serve as a liaison between residents, service providers, and property management to support effective communication and resolution of concerns. Participate in and support community events (e.g., tenant meetings, health fairs, and partner-led activities) to promote engagement and strengthen community connections. Collaborate closely with site management to promote ROC services and support broader property and resident engagement initiatives. Distribute outreach materials such as flyers, brochures, and program information in alignment with CMHA communication standards. Accurately document outreach activities, referrals, appointments, and program outcomes to support data-driven decision-making and organizational accountability. Maintain strict confidentiality of resident information in accordance with CMHA policies and professional standards. Participate in required training, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to maintain knowledge of services and continuously improve performance.
QUALIFICATIONS

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations effectively. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, community-based environment while maintaining professionalism and adaptability. Customer-service oriented mindset with a commitment to serving residents with dignity, respect, and empathy. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and follow-up activities. Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with integrity. Participation in one of CMHA's housing program, required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS
High School diploma.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions in an environment that could have increased stress levels.
OTHER:
The candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in state of residence and maintain an insurable driving record under the terms and conditions of the CMHA auto liability policy. The candidate may have no more than 6 accumulated points in 3 consecutive years.
