Job Description

Overview Responsible for presentations in schools and community outreach.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities :
1. Prepares and presents presentations for schools, churches, and community outreach. 2. Works with POP Team Leader and/or Assistant Director on needed purchases for programming. 3. Encourages, educates, trains and provides assistance to staff and volunteers on sexual abstinence health and relationship education skills. 4. Attends training and workshops to keep current on data and resources. Attends monthly staff meetings to stay connected to the ministry. 5. Acts as a liaison between agency and community. 6. Builds working relationships with schools and groups. 7. Helps to provide and develop supplemental materials and activities for teaching use by providing feedback to Prevention and Outreach Program (POP) Team Leader 8. Learns and prepares curriculum as provided/assigned by POP Team Leader. 9. Maintains knowledge of state laws pertaining to Prevention and Outreach Program presentations.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or related work experience. Knowledge of adolescent development and community resources. Excellent communication skills. Able to motivate, communicate, supervise, and work with teens and adults. Ability to learn and adapt to evolving technology and to navigate Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams. Must be a committed Christian with a close, personal walk with Jesus Christ and involved in a local fellowship for spiritual growth. Must adhere 100% to the mission, principles, and statement of faith of Heartbeats. Must demonstrate an attitude of serving, consistent life-affirming philosophy, and a heart for evangelism. Working Conditions Travel to various schools and community organizations. Mostly working in a classroom setting.
Pay:
$150.00 per day
