Full Job Description Job Summary:
Green Light Wireless is seeking energetic, outgoing, and reliable Community Ambassadors to help grow awareness and drive customer acquisition in targeted neighborhoods and community events. This part-time, field-based role combines event outreach, lead generation, and neighborhood canvassing. Ambassadors will represent the brand in person, speak with residents and event attendees, collect contact information, distribute promotional materials, and help generate residential internet service sign-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent Green Light Wireless professionally at events, tabling activations, and neighborhood outreach efforts. Engage community members in friendly, low-pressure conversations about internet needs and frustrations. Collect lead information accurately using forms, tablets, QR codes, or approved paper backup methods. Distribute door hangers, postcards, and promotional materials in assigned neighborhoods. Use approved scripts and talking points for outreach conversations. Answer basic questions about service, promotions, availability, and next steps. Encourage interested residents to request follow-up or sign up for service. Track outreach activity and submit simple post-shift reporting. Help set up, break down, and maintain event materials. Maintain a polished, approachable, community-centered brand presence. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people. Friendly, professional, and dependable. Able to work independently and as part of a small team. Comfortable walking neighborhoods and standing for event shifts. Able to accurately track leads and outreach activity. Prior experience in promotions, outreach, retail, canvassing, customer service, events, or sales is helpful but not required. Familiarity with local neighborhoods is a plus. Access to reliable transportation is preferred.
