Job Description

Rosales Communications is seeking Community Field Representatives based in the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre region to support energy efficiency outreach and customer education initiatives across Northeast Pennsylvania. This hub covers a broad mix of small cities, rural communities, and county fair circuits. Representatives will serve as professional brand ambassadors at community events, agricultural fairs, municipal gatherings, and public activations. The primary focus of this role is to educate residents about energy efficiency programs, conservation best practices, and available customer assistance resources. This is a part-time, event-based contract position with flexible scheduling. Most events occur on weekends, with occasional weekday evening opportunities. Representatives may travel within approximately a 90-minute radius of the Northeast PA hub.
Responsibilities include:
Representing Rosales Communications and utility partners at local events and outreach activations Engaging residents in conversations about energy conservation programs and assistance resources Distributing educational materials and promotional items Setting up and breaking down booth displays and outreach materials Collecting basic engagement data and completing post-event reporting Maintaining professional and culturally respectful interactions
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable engaging the public in outdoor and event environments Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to lift 25-30 lbs of event materials Weekend availability required Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required Preferred candidates will have experience in community outreach, customer service, nonprofit engagement, or event staffing. Familiarity with energy efficiency or utility programs is a plus. This role is ideal for dependable, outgoing individuals who enjoy working in community settings and making a measurable impact through education and outreach.
