Job Description
The Clinical Outreach Specialist serves as a key liaison between Alis Behavioral Health and community referral partners, helping adolescents and families connect with the appropriate level of behavioral health care. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with providers, schools, community organizations, hospitals, therapists, and other referral sources while representing Alis' mission, services, and values. The ideal candidate is an engaging relationship-builder who is enthusiastic about adolescent behavioral health treatment, understands the mental health landscape, and enjoys networking, community engagement, and partnership development. A clinical background is preferred, but it is not required. Success in this role comes from the ability to build trust, understand referral partner needs, communicate clinical services confidently, and can work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. This role's territory will be covering the Northern Denver Metro Area and most closely associated with the Alis Westminster location, though will require regular travel to the Denver location. Key Responsibilities Develop, grow, and maintain referral relationships throughout the community. Conduct regular outreach visits to community partners. Represent Alis Behavioral Health at networking events, conferences, community meetings, and educational presentations. Educate referral sources on available programs, levels of care, admission criteria, and treatment philosophy. Collaborate closely with Admissions, Clinical, and Operations teams to ensure seamless communication regarding referrals and client needs. Track outreach activities, referral trends, and business development efforts using CRM and internal reporting tools. Identify community needs and provide feedback to leadership regarding market trends and service opportunities. Assist with planning and executing community events, open houses, and other marketing initiatives. Participate in cross-training opportunities with Admissions, Clinical, Operations, and other departments as needed and guided by personal interest. Serve as a professional ambassador for Alis Behavioral Health by demonstrating integrity, responsiveness, and exceptional customer service. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in healthcare, marketing, business development, communications, psychology, social work, or related field. Experience in outreach, business development, provider relations, account management, healthcare marketing, or community engagement. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Comfortable discussing behavioral health services with clinical and non-clinical professionals, families, and community members. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular local travel. Preferred Experience working within behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, healthcare, human services, or other related specialties. Clinical experience or education (licensed or unlicensed) in a behavioral health-related field. Knowledge of the behavioral health continuum of care, referral processes, and community resources. Familiarity with insurance, admissions, or intake processes is a plus. Key Competencies Client-focused and empathetic approach. Professional and courteous demeanor in all communications. $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
