Responsibilities Develop comprehensive event concepts aligned with organizational goals, including venue selection, theme development, and logistical planning Coordinate all aspects of event marketing and promotion through various channels such as social media, email campaigns, and local outreach to maximize attendance and visibility Manage vendor relationships including catering, entertainment, equipment rentals, and venue contracts to ensure quality service within budget Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements—from decorations to technical equipment—are executed flawlessly Handle budgeting responsibilities by estimating costs, negotiating contracts with vendors, and tracking expenses to stay within financial parameters Provide exceptional customer service by addressing attendee inquiries promptly and ensuring a positive experience for all guests Maintain detailed records of event logistics, contracts, budgets, and post-event evaluations for continuous improvement Requirements Proven experience in event planning or management within hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or banquet settings Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and partners Excellent marketing abilities to promote events effectively across multiple platforms Demonstrated upselling skills to increase revenue through additional services or packages during events Knowledge of event marketing strategies and experience in organizing large-scale gatherings or fundraisers Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to manage guest inquiries professionally and courteously Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Familiarity with budgeting processes and contract negotiations related to event services Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate teams and manage logistics seamlessly Previous experience in banquet operations, catering coordination, or hotel/hospitality environments is highly desirable Join us as a Community Events Coordinator and be at the forefront of creating vibrant community experiences that inspire connection and celebration.
