We serve children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays and behavioral challenges — accepting Anthem, Cigna, Aetna and Tricare. We are building something special in East County and looking for the right person to help us grow. Your entire job is one thing — connect families who need ABA therapy with United ABA. You are our face in the community. You build the relationships that fill our caseload. This is not a desk job. You are out in the community every single day.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Visit pediatrician offices in El Cajon, Santee, La Mesa, Lakeside and Jamul and build relationships with doctors and office managers. Call and visit EFMP coordinators at Camp Pendleton, MCAS Miramar and Naval Base San Diego to connect military families with our Tricare-accepted services. Contact HR departments at large East San Diego employers including Sharp Healthcare, Grossmont Hospital and school districts asking to be listed as an ABA resource for employees. Attend autism parent support groups monthly and introduce United ABA to families. Visit private schools and special education departments in East County. Manage all provider directory listings including Beaming Health, ABA Navigator, Google Business Profile and Autism Speaks. Follow up with every incoming lead within 24 hours. Track all referral sources weekly and report to owner every Friday. Attend community events including autism walks, health fairs and school events. Build relationships with Rady Children's social workers and CPCMG care coordinators
WHO YOU ARE
You know the East San Diego autism and special needs community. You are a natural relationship builder who is warm, persistent and organized. You have experience in healthcare, social work, special education or nonprofit. Former Regional Center case manager or Autism Society employee strongly preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a strong plus as many East County families are Spanish speaking. You have a valid California drivers license and reliable vehicle. You believe in what you do and this is not just a job to you.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, education or related field. Two or more years experience in healthcare outreach, community health or special needs services. Knowledge of East San Diego autism and special needs community preferred. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Valid CA drivers license and reliable vehicle with clean driving record. Strong communication and relationship building skills.
COMPENSATION
$55,000+ base salary depending on experience. $1000 bonus for every client enrolled — uncapped. Mileage reimbursement $0.67 per mile. Flexible schedule — you manage your own day.
