This role is essential in helping expand awareness, build partnerships, and increase support for our initiatives that serve individuals and families facing economic hardship. The Founder Advocate will act as a key public-facing representative of the organization, engaging with local businesses, community organizations, and residents to promote our programs, secure donation opportunities, and establish outreach partnerships such as donation kiosks and informational tables. This is a mission-driven position ideal for someone passionate about advocacy, community development, and nonprofit impact work.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent Our Path Forward Inc. at community locations, events, and outreach efforts Engage local businesses and organizations to secure partnerships, donation kiosks, and support opportunities Educate the public about the organization's mission, programs, and services Assist in donor engagement and fundraising initiatives Help coordinate and support community outreach campaigns and events Maintain professional communication and positive public relations on behalf of the organization Track outreach efforts and provide updates to leadership
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for community service, advocacy, or nonprofit work Comfortable speaking with business owners and the public Self-motivated and able to work independently in field-based settings Reliable, professional appearance and conduct Prior experience in outreach, sales, fundraising, or customer service is a plus (not required)
