Through compassion based peer support, Rebuild Yourself helps teens build confidence, strengthen friendships, develop leadership skills, and feel connected to a community that believes in them. We currently serve teens through partnerships, sessions, community events, service projects, and life skills programming in Orange County and Osceola County, with a goal of expanding our reach throughout Central Florida. Job Description Rebuild Yourself Inc. is seeking a motivated, professional, and mission driven Fundraising Contractor to help secure donations, sponsorships, grants, and community funding from businesses, organizations, foundations, and community partners. This is a commission based independent contractor position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making outreach calls, sending emails, building relationships, scheduling meetings, sharing the mission of Rebuild Yourself Inc., and helping identify new funding opportunities to support teen programs, life skills sessions, community outings, and nonprofit growth. The Fundraising Contractor will work closely with Rebuild Yourself leadership to identify prospective donors, sponsors, business partners, and grant opportunities. This role is best suited for someone who is self motivated, relationship focused, organized, and passionate about helping teens and families. Key Responsibilities Identify potential donors, sponsors, business partners, foundations, and organizations that align with the mission of Rebuild Yourself Inc. Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, networking, community meetings, and in person visits when appropriate. Share Rebuild Yourself Inc.'s mission, programs, impact, and funding needs in a professional and compelling way. Help secure donations, sponsorships, grants, in kind contributions, and community partnerships. Schedule meetings between potential donors or partners and Rebuild Yourself leadership when needed. Maintain a clear list of prospective donors, outreach attempts, follow ups, meeting notes, and funding opportunities. Assist with sponsor outreach for events, teen programs, community sessions, and special fundraising campaigns. Support outreach for program funding related to teen life skills sessions, peer support, pediatric cancer support efforts, caregiver support, and community events. Develop and maintain positive relationships with donors, sponsors, partners, and community organizations. Represent Rebuild Yourself Inc. in a professional, ethical, and mission focused manner. Ensure all fundraising outreach follows organizational standards, donor confidentiality expectations, and nonprofit fundraising ethics. Provide regular updates to Rebuild Yourself leadership regarding outreach progress, potential funding opportunities, and secured commitments. Qualifications Experience in fundraising, sales, business development, donor relations, nonprofit work, sponsorship outreach, community engagement, or grant prospecting is preferred. Strong communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable contacting businesses, organizations, foundations, and community leaders. Ability to explain the mission and impact of Rebuild Yourself Inc. clearly and professionally. Self motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision. Strong organizational skills and ability to track outreach, follow ups, and donor information. Reliable, professional, and comfortable representing a nonprofit organization in the community. Passion for helping teens, families, and communities thrive. Reliable transportation is preferred for in person meetings or community outreach. Ability to maintain donor confidentiality and ethical fundraising practices. Hours and Compensation This is a part time, independent contractor position with a flexible schedule. Compensation is commission based and will be determined by a written contractor agreement. Commission may be based on donations, sponsorships, grants, or funding secured through the contractor's direct outreach efforts. This position does not guarantee hourly pay unless otherwise stated in the written agreement. Travel, meetings, and outreach expectations will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins. Schedule Flexible schedule based on outreach goals, donor availability, meetings, events, and fundraising needs. Some daytime, evening, or weekend availability may be needed for donor meetings, networking opportunities, community events, or sponsor visits. Work Location This position may include remote work, phone and email outreach, and in person meetings throughout Orange County, Osceola County, and Central Florida.
