About the Role We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Marketing Manager to lead the launch of a women's sober living home. This role will oversee startup operations, develop key referral partnerships, and drive community outreach efforts to ensure strong occupancy and long-term sustainability. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can move quickly, build relationships, and execute a clear plan to bring a mission-driven housing program to life. Key Responsibilities Launch & Operational Setup Develop and execute a 60-day launch plan Ensure readiness for opening, including operational systems and processes Partnership & Referral Development Build and maintain relationships with: Drug & alcohol treatment centers (inpatient & outpatient) Community Services Boards (CSBs) Drug courts and probation offices Churches and faith-based organizations Hospitals and behavioral health providers Establish referral agreements and ongoing pipelines Represent the organization at networking events and recovery meetings Outreach & Marketing Develop and execute grassroots marketing strategies Create outreach materials (flyers, one-pagers, call scripts) Conduct in-person outreach and presentations Track outreach efforts and conversion rates Admissions & Occupancy Growth Manage inquiries and coordinate resident intakes Implement an efficient admissions process Drive occupancy to meet targets within the first 60-90 days Ensure proper screening aligned with house guidelines Compliance & Quality Standards Ensure alignment with Virginia Association of Recovery Residences standards Maintain accurate documentation and operational procedures Prepare for inspections or certification as needed Reporting & Strategy Provide weekly reports on partnerships, outreach, and occupancy Identify challenges and implement solutions quickly Support leadership with growth and expansion planning Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in marketing, operations, or program development Background in behavioral health, recovery services, or social services Strong networking and relationship-building skills Highly organized with the ability to execute independently Preferred Experience launching a sober living home or recovery program Knowledge of Virginia's recovery ecosystem (CSBs, courts, treatment centers) Familiarity with VARR or NARR standards Key Skills Project execution & timeline management Business development & outreach Communication & public speaking Problem-solving and adaptability Data tracking and reporting Success Metrics (First 60-90 Days) Establish 10-20+ active referral partnerships Achieve full operational readiness Reach 70-100% occupancy Implement a functional outreach and tracking system
Pay:
