Approximately 15 hours per week About Junebug Foundation Junebug Foundation is a nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to giving dogs and cats a second chance at life. We rescue and care for surrendered or abandoned pets, including those with medical needs as well as young, otherwise healthy animals who need time and support to grow. From lifesaving treatment to routine care for underage puppies and kittens, we ensure every pet is given the foundation for a healthy, happy life in a loving foster home. Our work is powered by community support, and our monthly donors are critical to sustaining and expanding our lifesaving efforts. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven individual to grow and manage our monthly donor program. This role focuses on direct outreach, donor engagement, and conversion , helping build a reliable base of recurring supporters. The ideal candidate is comfortable connecting with people, sharing meaningful stories, and confidently asking for ongoing financial support. Key Responsibilities Donor Outreach & Growth Identify and connect with potential donors through events, email, social media, phone calls, and community outreach Initiate conversations and confidently ask individuals to become monthly donors Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective supporters Campaign Support Assist with messaging for monthly giving campaigns across email and social media Help promote a consistent and recognizable monthly donor program Relationship Building Maintain communication with current donors to strengthen engagement and retention Send thank-you messages, updates, and impact stories Events & Community Engagement The rescue will provide a list of upcoming events that can be a resource for the employee to find donors. Represent Junebug Foundation in a warm, professional, and engaging manner Tracking & Reporting Maintain a structured log of outreach and donor interactions Weekly meeting with Junebug leadership to discuss progress and to submit a weekly report outlining: Individuals contacted Type of outreach Responses and follow-ups Donor conversions Collaborate with leadership to review progress and adjust strategy Performance Expectations This is a results-driven role with clear goals: Target of 20-25 new monthly donors per month Growth toward this goal over the first 60-90 days. At 90 days will review the target goal and it may be adjusted. Consistent weekly outreach and follow-up efforts Ability to build and manage an active pipeline of prospective donors Junebug Foundation will provide weekly updates on confirmed donor sign-ups (via our donation platform), and the coordinator will help track and attribute outreach efforts accordingly. Trial Period This position includes a 90-day trial period to ensure mutual fit and measurable impact. Performance during this period will be evaluated based on: Outreach consistency and effort Ability to engage and convert donors Organization and reporting Overall contribution to program growth Successful completion of the trial period will lead to continued employment and potential for expanded responsibilities.
