Job Description
Overview The Outreach Coordinator works with the Director of Outreach to serve the congregation by supporting Outreach, including serving as the liaison to Cares Ministries and partners, coordinating volunteers, providing organizational support, and remaining aligned with the mission and values of WCPC. Key Responsibilities
Additional outreach-related responsibilities may be assigned as ministry needs develop.
Volunteer and Appointment Schedule Management Provide leadership and direction to the Care Cottage Volunteers Onboard and train new volunteers Keep accurate records of volunteer documentation Maintain Planning Center Services Schedule Organizational Support Engage WCPC Partner Contacts and Relationships Local and Global Partners Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano Counties Recycle for Change Walnut Creek Police/CORE Maintain Airtable Cottage Database Appointment schedule oversight Tech troubleshooting Reconciling data entries Monthly statistics reporting Supplies Inventory Management Amazon Food Bank (Agency Express) Clothing/Toys Donations CARE-a-Van and Event Support/Leadership Support Mobile Clothing Distribution up to 3 times annually Lead CARE-a-Van as a backup to Devona up to once annually Christmas Room Coordination Nov.
