Outreach Coordinator - Part Time

Job Summary We are seeking seeking a motivated and compassionate Outreach Coordinator to support our housing and employment programs. This role focuses on connecting individuals and families in need with available services, including housing assistance, job placement, and community resources. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and passionate about helping underserved populations access critical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct outreach in the community to identify and engage individuals in need of housing and employment services Build relationships with shelters, community organizations, workforce centers, and local agencies Educate the community about available programs and services Assist clients with program enrollment and referrals to housing and job placement resources Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, contacts, and outcomes Attend community events, job fairs, and networking meetings to promote services Collaborate with program staff to ensure clients receive appropriate support Track outreach performance metrics and submit regular reports Support marketing and distribution of outreach materials (flyers, brochures, etc.)

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Communications, or related field preferred Experience in outreach, case management, social services, or nonprofit work preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and engage diverse communities Comfortable working in community-based settings and attending events Basic computer skills (email, data entry, Microsoft Office)

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with unhoused populations or low-income communities Knowledge of local housing and workforce resources in California Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) a plus Strong organizational and time-management abilities Why Join Us?
