Outreach Manager
The Parent Encouragement Program (PEP) seeks an energetic and collaborative candidate to join the PEP team as its Outreach Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly regarded and growing nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the Associate Director, the Outreach Manager is responsible for promoting the PEP Family Resiliency Program and other programs to local schools and the community.
Participate in and manage outreach and recruitment events at schools and community locations, including local school events, back-to-school nights, and mental health fairs.
Develop and maintain relationships with schools, community groups, and supporters to increase participation in the PEP Family Resiliency Program and other programs.
Create marketing materials and coordinate the procurement of outreach and promotional materials.
Manage on-site marketing activities and logistics for in-person PEP events.
Provide customer service and support to community partners and schools.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and results.
Research and recommend events, fairs, and other community engagement opportunities w PEP may have a presence.
Hire, train, and supervise part-time seasonal outreach staff.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Spanish fluency and professional working proficiency in English strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Zoom required. Experience with Google Workspace and Canva is a plus. Candidates will complete Word and Excel skills assessments.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and consistent access to a vehicle required.
Positive, open-minded, and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and contribute to shared goals. Schedule and Work Environment
PEP currently operates on a hybrid schedule, with one day per week in PEP's Kensington, Maryland office and the remaining days worked remotely.
Due to the nature of this role, the Outreach Manager is expected to conduct off-site activities at schools, events, and other community locations approximately one to three times per week in support of outreach and promotional efforts.
Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40-hour work week); however hours may vary, as occasional evening and weekend work is required.
PEP offers schedule flexibility to support both organizational and employee needs.
Attendance is required at twice-monthly in-person staff meetings and other special company-wide events held 4-6 time throughout the year.
Travel The Outreach Manager is expected to travel throughout Montgomery, Prince George and Frederick County for presentations and participation in school and community events. Work Environment and Physical Demands Work is performed in office, remote, and community-based settings. The role requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and perform physical tasks associated with event coordination, including lifting and carrying materials, setting up and breaking down displays, walking short distances, climbing stairs, and driving to event locations....
