$40,000•43,000 per year About the Role CASA of the Lincoln Trail is hiring a full-time Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator to lead community engagement and volunteer recruitment efforts across Nelson, Washington, and Marion Counties—with expansion into Taylor and Green Counties anticipated. While our office is located in Bardstown, this position requires regular travel throughout the service area to meet with volunteers, attend court hearings, and represent CASA in the community.
Early priorities will include:
Recruiting and onboarding new CASA volunteers Expanding CASA's visibility through outreach and marketing Strengthening relationships with schools, businesses, and civic organizations Key Responsibilities Volunteer Recruitment & Outreach Develop and implement strategies to recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers Represent CASA at community events and speaking engagements Create outreach materials and manage social media presence Build and maintain partnerships to grow CASA's volunteer base Volunteer Support & Supervision Provide coaching and supervision to active volunteers Guide volunteers in preparing court reports and navigating child welfare systems Ensure compliance with CASA standards and confidentiality policies Case Management Assign volunteers to cases in consultation with the Executive Director Attend court hearings and facilitate collaboration with system professionals Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely submission of reports Program Development & Administration Track volunteer and case data for reporting and evaluation Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and volunteer appreciation events Contribute to storytelling and impact reporting for donors and stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social services or related field Minimum three years of experience in child welfare, volunteer coordination, or nonprofit outreach Strong public speaking and relationship-building skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks Willingness to travel regularly across multiple counties (mileage reimbursed monthly) This position plays a vital role in CASA's mission to advocate for children in the court system. Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, and ready to lead with purpose.
