Our team works directly with the public at community activations, fundraising events, and outreach campaigns to connect people with causes that matter. We are currently looking for a Community Outreach & Fundraising Assistant to join our growing Charleston team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to gain experience in outreach, fundraising, events, and leadership development.

What You'll Do:

Represent nonprofit and community-based campaigns at live events and outreach locations Engage with community members through friendly, meaningful conversations Educate the public about nonprofit missions, campaigns, and initiatives Help generate support and fundraising contributions for charitable causes Assist with event setup, coordination, and breakdown Track outreach and campaign performance metrics Work closely with team leaders to support daily event operations Participate in ongoing leadership development opportunities

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive, outgoing, and team-oriented attitude Comfortable interacting with the public in busy event environments Adaptable and dependable with strong work ethic Customer service, hospitality, fundraising, event, or community outreach experience is a plus — but not required Must be able to commute to event locations throughout the Charleston area
