Job Description

About the Position We are seeking a Fundraising & Outreach Associate to support our nonprofit partners through in-person community outreach, event marketing, and fundraising initiatives. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to launch a career in marketing, fundraising, or nonprofit development while gaining hands-on experience working directly with the public. Coordinators begin by managing short-term, pop-up style events across the local area, engaging community members, increasing awareness, and generating financial support for the nonprofit organizations we represent. No prior experience is required — full training is provided. Key Responsibilities Represent nonprofit organizations at community events, retail pop-ups, and promotional locations Engage face-to-face with the public to share nonprofit missions and encourage support Coordinate event setup, execution, and breakdown Maintain a professional, positive brand presence Support donor engagement and enrollment processes Track daily outreach and event performance Collaborate with leadership while learning marketing and outreach strategies Develop skills in marketing, fundraising, territory coverage, and client engagement This role includes hands-on training in: Nonprofit marketing and community outreach Event planning and promotions Fundraising strategy and donor engagement Brand and client representation Territory management Leadership and team development Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in public, in-person environments Coachable, reliable, and motivated to learn Interest in marketing, events, or nonprofit work Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends Reliable transportation within the local area What We Offer Hands-on training Ongoing mentorship and leadership development Clear advancement opportunities Team-oriented, supportive culture Experience supporting impactful nonprofit causes Important Information This is not a remote position All work is in-person at community events PI285376876
