We are currently seeking a Part-Time Community Outreach & Pre-Planning Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a fun, outgoing personality who enjoys building relationships, organizing events, and helping others. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working in both community and office settings. Position Details Part-Time Monday, Wednesday, Friday Schedule $18/hour
Responsibilities Include:
Assist preneed funeral directors and counselors in planning and coordinating community outreach events Contact restaurants, churches, senior centers, community organizations, and vendors to schedule and organize events Order food, beverages, supplies, and marketing materials for events Help organize, set up, and attend community events while creating a welcoming experience for attendees Represent McAlister-Smith Funeral Home at senior community events and networking opportunities Respond to requests for information regarding pre-need funeral planning Pull, scan, organize, and distribute files and contracts as needed Assist with administration and organization of preneed contracts and records Maintain inventory of brochures, promotional items, office supplies, and event materials Submit monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner using
Microsoft Word and Excel Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable speaking with community members and building professional relationships Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required Ability to multitask and work independently Event coordination or administrative experience preferred Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Why Join Our Team?
