Full Job Description Intergenerational & Community Engagement Coordinator Shift:

Ovation Communities — Jewish Home & Care Center Ovation Communities is seeking a Intergenerational & Community Engagement Coordinator to assist in managing the community engagement (including intergenerational and volunteers) across the Ovation Communities campus. They will also work with the community at large to assist in creating and fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment for all residents and participants.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and administer all programs involving residents and program participants in partnership with all community agencies, Jewish day schools, Milwaukee public schools and area synagogues. Participates in efforts to continue to grow the volunteer corps. Visits with department directors on a regular basis to see what opportunities and needs there might be for volunteers. Consults with, and informs, the Directors of Life Enrichment of both Jewish Home (includes Kavod Terrace and Adult Day Services) and Chai Point regarding volunteer programs at their respective campuses. Provides and reviews a completed application form and background check for individuals interested in volunteering, processes them, and follows up with an applicant interview. Provides orientation including a review of relevant policies, tour of the facility, HIPAA and infection control training.
