Do you have ministry experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to create welcoming spaces where people of all faiths can connect and grow? This is an exciting opportunity for a The Peak Airmen Ministry Center Coordinator to lead a unique faith-based community hub at Travis AFB, California. Working part-time, around 21.5 hours per week, the The Peak Airmen Ministry Center Coordinator will help shape a supportive environment focused on spiritual growth, leadership development, and authentic community for junior Airmen. In this rewarding role, you will oversee daily operations, develop engaging programmes, mentor volunteers, and help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate religious, fellowship, and leadership programmes Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule volunteers and leadership teams Develop community service opportunities and annual events calendars Manage daily operations of The Peak facility, including café-style beverage service Create promotional materials and coordinate approved advertising Oversee stock, supplies, budgets, and monthly expenditure reporting Maintain health, safety, cleanliness, and security standards Ensure compliance with Air Force and Chaplain Corps regulations Support an inclusive environment for individuals of all faith backgrounds The Benefits $20

The Person:
To succeed as a The Peak Airmen Ministry Center Coordinator , you should have: Associate's degree or higher (ministerial studies preferred) At least two years of ministry experience in church, para church, or military chapel settings Strong leadership and organisational skills Experience working with young adults Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Professional standards of conduct Ability to pass criminal background checks Commitment to supporting people from all faiths
