Spiritual Educator

Spiritual Educator (Part-Time, 12-Month Contract) Lakeside Presbyterian Church - Duluth, MN Lakeside Presbyterian Church is seeking a passionate and organized Spiritual Educator to join our team during an exciting year of transition. This is a part-time, 15-hours/week, temporary, 12-month contract position, with the possibility of renewal, perfect for someone dedicated to nurturing faith across generations. Our Mission The mission of Lakeside Presbyterian Church is to seek, with guidance from the Holy Spirit, to develop committed Disciples of Christ through a caring ministry, which nurtures spiritual growth and understanding of God's purpose and love through worship, fellowship, celebration, giving, teaching, and learning; and which involves the congregation with others in our community and the world. Role & Key Responsibilities In this role, you will coordinate and support the education ministry for children, youth, and adults.

Key tasks include:

Family Ministry:

Create and oversee quarterly family ministry opportunities.

Sunday School:

Prepare for Sunday School (October - May), including recruiting and supporting volunteer teachers.

Youth Ministry:

Support the Youth Ministry of LPC by recruiting, equipping, and supporting leaders.

Vacation Bible School:

Collaborate with and support the Christian Education committee's VBS ministry.

Position Details & Qualifications Commitment:

15 hours per week.

Duration:

12-month contract (with the possibility of renewal).

Preferred Experience:
