Location:
Seymour Johnson AFB Chapel Schedule:
Approximately 24 hours per week. Sundays at 11:00 AM (•Note that schedules can occasionally change due to mission requirements or base closures)
Qualifications:
Must possess at least three years of leadership experience in Catholic religious education, preferably in a parish or military chapel. Must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Catholic doctrines and worship practices. Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the English language. Must be able to work effectively within a multi-faith environment. Must demonstrate the ability to organize diverse and complex program elements. Must maintain a working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software. Must understand the fundamentals of budget planning and execution. Must successfully pass a mandatory criminal history background check.
Responsibilities:
Manage the annual calendar, select curriculum, and oversee both appropriated and tithe-based budgets. Recruit and train volunteers while ensuring all background check requirements are met. Handle facility and purchase requests, maintain electronic rosters, and record attendance promptly. Prepare and inspect activity spaces at least thirty minutes before events begin. Prepare and submit official records to the Archdiocese for the Military Services. Direct the planning and execution of the annual Vacation Bible School.

$1,650.00 per month
