Peak Coordinator, Kernersville (Part-Time) About the
Role:
The Peak Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Peak Director by helping plan, coordinate, and execute weekly ministry services and special events for children from 6 weeks to Pre-K . This position ensures ministry environments are organized, welcoming, and prepared while supporting volunteers, families, and ministry operations. The ideal candidate is organized, relational, dependable, and passionate about partnering with families to help young children take their first steps in faith. Key ResponsibilitiesMinistry Operations Assist with managing and running Peak services on Thursday evenings and Sunday Implement curriculum lessons and activities selected by the Peak Set up and maintain the Storytime stage and décor each month to align with the current curriculum Purchase and restock classroom and volunteer room Provide coverage for the Peak Director when Fill volunteer needs within Peak classrooms as Volunteer Support Manage volunteer scheduling and Maintain the Peak volunteer Assist with volunteer onboarding, training, and Support volunteer leaders and help create a positive volunteer Family Communication Communicate with Peak parents as needed regarding ministry activities, events, and child-related Coordinate monthly mailings by creating and maintaining mailing lists for volunteer leaders and Events & Special Projects Assist the Peak Director in planning and executing special Participate in all Peak ministry events and activities as Support additional ministry projects and administrative tasks as Qualifications & CharacteristicsSpiritual Qualifications Demonstrates a growing personal relationship with Jesus Supports and believes in the vision, mission, and values of The Summit Exhibits the qualities of being Faithful, Available, and Professional Qualifications Strong organizational and administrative Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
