Executive Pastor About The Bridge Church The Bridge Church exists to help people find and follow Jesus. We are a growing, gospel-centered church in Wilmington, North Carolina that is For Christ, For Community, and For City . We are passionate about biblical teaching, authentic community, and raising up the next generation to know and follow Jesus. Position Summary The Bridge Kids Director provides visionary, strategic, and operational leadership for all children's ministry environments (Birth-5th Grade). This role oversees discipleship strategy, curriculum, volunteer leadership, family engagement, ministry systems, events, and Sunday programming to help children and families take their next step with Jesus. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the vision and strategy for Bridge Kids. Recruit, train, schedule, and develop volunteer leaders. Oversee curriculum, discipleship pathways, and family ministry initiatives. Ensure safe, engaging, and excellent Sunday environments. Plan and execute key events, camps, and family experiences. Manage ministry systems, communication, and budget. Partner with parents as the primary disciplers of their children. Collaborate with church staff to support the overall mission of The Bridge. Qualifications A growing and mature relationship with Jesus Christ. Strong alignment with the mission, values, and theology of The Bridge Church. Bachelor's degree in Ministry, Education, Leadership, Child Development, or a related field required. Minimum of 2 years of vocational church ministry experience required. Proven ability to recruit, lead, and develop volunteer teams. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with children's ministry programming, systems, and discipleship strategies preferred.
