They act as a liaison with RMHC staff, volunteers, hospital personnel, and the Permian Basin community. They are involved in the community promoting awareness of the RMHC mission and volunteer opportunities. They host and participate in fundraising events, including an annual golf tournament, as well as various other events. They are responsible for preparing various reports on a regular basis, as well as other administrative responsibilities.

President & CEO Job Qualifications College level education or work experience in a related field desirable. Supervisory experience with leading a team. Must be 21 or older with an excellent driving record. Bilingual skills are desirable. Competency Administrative and organizational excellence. Excellent communication skills in all mediums. Knowledge of the Permian Basin area's business and social communities. Expectations A. Participate in staff meetings and communicate relevant information. B. Attend leadership meetings, which will occasionally require travel to Lubbock. C. Work with families of critically ill children in a compassionate and optimistic manner. F. Respect diverse cultures and work and interact with all types of people. G. Assist in the Family Rooms as needed based on staffing. H. Execute other responsibilities as requested. Requirements Supervise RMHC part-time staff to ensure the success of the Family Room programs in both Midland and Odessa. Coordinate with our healthcare partners to maintain an excellent working relationship. Initiate contact with local organizations and make presentations regarding RMHC programs. Participate in tv and radio spots as scheduled. Represent RMHC to the community through personal contact and public speaking opportunities. Conduct tours of the Family Rooms for volunteers and visitors. Coordinate fundraising efforts to raise funds and awareness of RMHC's mission and the impact of our programs in the Permian Basin area. Schedule and present Volunteer Orientation programs. Recruit, retain, and recognize volunteers for RMHC programs. Ensure training and orientation for volunteers to meet the requirements of both RMHC and our hospital partners. Develop strategies to retain volunteers and coordinate with other RMHC staff to implement. Maintain policies and procedures for volunteer program as necessary. Maintain supportive and open communication with volunteers and attend RMHC functions as needed. Maintain accurate records on volunteers, including individuals and groups. Provide written reports as required for RMHC, including reports to the Board. Attend RMHC Board and Finance Committee meetings monthly, which will occasionally require travel to Lubbock. Respond as necessary to emergency situations, including any that may arise after normal business hours. Oversee the Cart with a Heart program within the hospital. Plan and execute an annual golf tournament in Midland/Odessa. Act as a liaison between RMHC and our McDonald's owner/operators in the Permian Basin area, coordinating with our Development Coordinator, who serves as the primary liaison. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and will office between the MCH Family Room and the MMH Family Room, as well as from their home or an offsite location. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some travel is required (including the occasional overnight). Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Salary This is a full-time, exempt position. Hours of duty may vary to meet the needs of donors, guests, and volunteers, or to participate in RMHC fundraising events.
