Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Faith Formation Coordinator to inspire spiritual growth and deepen faith within our Catholic parish community. This vibrant role involves developing engaging religious education programs, fostering a welcoming environment for all ages, and supporting individuals through life's spiritual milestones. As a key leader in our faith community, you will coordinate educational activities, provide compassionate counseling, and promote active participation in faith-based events. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help nurture a vibrant, inclusive spiritual environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to grow in their personal faith journey. Duties Design and implement comprehensive faith formation programs for children, youth, and adults that align with our parish's mission. Lead faith formation classes, retreats, and special events that foster community engagement and spiritual development. Coordinate volunteer efforts and train lay leaders to support program delivery. Organize and oversee faith-based events such as prayer services, workshops, and fundraising activities to support parish's missions. Collaborate with Pastor and staff to develop curriculum materials that reflect core Catholic teachings and social issues. Support families through rites of passage such as First Communion and Confirmation with sensitivity and professionalism. Requirements Must be a practicing Catholic, a member in good standing of a Catholic parish within the Diocese of Green Bay, and be single, ordained, a professed religious or in a sacramental marriage and have a strong faith commitment, dedicated to the Gospel values and living a life of prayer and service. Bachelor's degree in theology or related area. 2 years of religious education experience in a parish. 2 years of supervisory experience required. Position requires an understanding of catechetical processes as they pertain to children, youth, young adults, and adults. Proven experience in teaching or leading faith-based programs within a Catholic context. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate volunteers and team members effectively. Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse age groups and community members. Experience in event planning, fundraising efforts, and working with children or youth populations is helpful but not required. Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while maintaining confidentiality. A deep commitment to fostering an inclusive environment rooted in Catholic values. Pay:
