Job Description

Job Description The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks an
ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR I
to represent institution to prospective undergraduate students and their families at college fairs, visits to high schools, on campus and off campus events, and through regular telephone and email contact.
Responsibilities:
1. Implements the departmental student recruitment plan by representing UAB to prospective students, their families, high school counselors, and the general public at college fairs, high school visits, on campus recruitment events, and off campus recruitment events. 2. Maintains frequent contact with prospective students in assigned territory through regular telephone and email contact. 3. Tracks progress, builds reports and analyzes trends within assigned geographic territory. 4. Provides input to student recruitment using Customer Relations Management Software (CRM). 5. Performs other duties as assigned. (
Hourly Rate:
$17.00 - $18.73) Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed with a Driver's License from the State of Alabama required.
