Position Summary The Center for Global Learning and Engagement at the University of Central Arkansas seeks an International Admissions Counselor and Recruiter who will admit international undergraduate and graduate student applicants. This position will work closely with our international recruitment specialist and admissions counselors in the graduate school, reporting to the Director of Global Learning and Engagement. This staff member will participate in recruiting international students in various virtual and in-person formats. Some international travel is required. Job Duties and Responsibilities General International Admissions
Uses the university CRM to evaluate and process all international undergraduate admission applications
Coordinates with the Graduate School to manage all international graduate admission applications
Maintains International Admissions reports
Communicates with new applicants as needed to yield admits
Updates students' records in the university's Student Information System
Supervises student workers for tasks related to admissions
Serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) in order to issue appropriate immigration documents
Participates in communication and outreach plan to prospective students, inquiries, and applicants via email and social media
Assists the Director of Global Learning and Engagement with evaluating of admission application processes and functions
Collaborates with other campus departments regarding international admission requirements Recruiting
Assists the International Student Recruitment Specialist to implement recruitment activities and follow up with prospective students through all stages of the recruitment process.
Travels to recruit international students (as needed)
Conducts presentations and webinars for international institutions and EducationUSA Centers around the world
Participates in virtual recruiting events with colleagues
Assists recruiting team in preparing marketing materials including International Admission website updates
Utilizes the university CRM to manage targeted recruitment strategies and on-going strategic communications with prospective students, inquiries, and applicants Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The successful candidate will

Possess excellent written communication and public speaking skills in English
Have proven experience in multitasking and demonstrable attention to detail
Have expertise with computer applications (Slate, Banner, etc) to manage and manipulate student data

Required Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree and related work experience. Preferred Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree and one year experience in international admissions or recruiting
International experience through study or travel abroad
