Job Description

JOB The Graduate Admissions Counselor serves as a key ambassador for Fresno Pacific University, helping prospective students discover opportunities to advance their education and career goals through FPU's graduate programs. This relationship-focused role guides students through every stage of the admissions and enrollment process, from initial inquiry to successful enrollment, providing personalized support and encouragement along the way. The position offers the opportunity to build meaningful connections with prospective students, community partners, and campus departments while representing the mission and values of Fresno Pacific University at recruitment events and outreach activities throughout the region. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Recruit prospective graduate students to attend Fresno Pacific University Guide students through the admissions and enrollment decision-making process Present to prospective students the best case for enrolling as a graduate student at FPU in a prospective student's program of interest Conduct individual and group student meetings both on and off campus. Maintain professional and consistent communication and relationships with program directors and faculty. Manage a distinct group of prospective students through the admissions process using a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) with the support of Admissions Operations Record all interactions with prospective students appropriately within the CRM. Maintain regular communication with a distinct group of prospective students to encourage and support them through the admissions and enrollment decision-making process. Work with FPU staff, faculty and administration on both community and regional activities and events including occasional travel as needed. Serve as an articulate spokesperson for the mission, vision, and values of FPU. Demonstrate a commitment to serving and inspiring students and colleagues in a context of a Christian University, integrating your Christian faith into your role and responsibilities. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
$39,520 - $46,800 annually is the starting annual salary for this role and reflects what Fresno Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, Fresno Pacific University offers a competitive benefits package.
