Not specified Description About the Job Admissions Specialist / Registered Nurse Help patients take the next step toward recovery. MedStar National Rehabilitation Network is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled professional to join our team as an Admissions Specialist . In this dynamic role, you'll connect patients, families, and healthcare providers with life-changing rehabilitation services while helping coordinate seamless inpatient admissions. What You'll Do Evaluate and assess patients for inpatient rehabilitation eligibility Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and referral sources Educate patients and families about rehabilitation services and care options Build strong relationships with hospitals and community partners Support care planning, insurance/pre-certification, and admissions coordination Serve as a trusted rehabilitation resource across the healthcare continuum What We're Looking For RN license required (background with relevant rehab experience preferred) 1-2 years of clinical experience required Strong assessment, communication, and relationship-building skills Knowledge of rehabilitation services and healthcare systems preferred Reliable transportation for local travel to referring hospitals Why Join MedStar NRN?
