This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining strong referral relationships, increasing brand awareness, and generating admissions through strategic outreach. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a field-based environment , enjoys building relationships, and has experience working with private-pay behavioral health services . Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain referral relationships with healthcare professionals, therapists, interventionists, hospitals, and community partners. Conduct regular in-person outreach and networking within assigned territories. Identify and cultivate new referral sources to drive admissions and revenue growth. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and community outreach opportunities. Educate referral partners on treatment programs, services, and admissions processes. Track outreach activity, referral relationships, and pipeline development in CRM systems. Collaborate with clinical and admissions teams to ensure seamless client transitions into care. Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the behavioral health space. Qualifications 2+ years of business development, outreach, or admissions experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or related healthcare services. Proven experience working with private-pay behavioral health programs . Strong existing network of referral sources preferred. Ability to work independently and manage a territory-based, on-the-road schedule . Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills. Highly organized with strong follow-up and pipeline management skills. Preferred Experience Experience with residential treatment, detox, PHP, or IOP programs . Existing relationships with therapists, hospitals, interventionists, and treatment providers . CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
