Keiser University is looking for energetic, outgoing, and highly organized Admissions Counselors to join our Miami campus team. This is not a behind-the-scenes administrative role. We are looking for professionals who are comfortable building relationships, having meaningful conversations, and guiding students through one of the most important decisions of their lives.
The ideal candidate is:
Personable and confident Highly organized and detail-oriented Fast-moving and proactive Comfortable speaking with people all day Able to build trust quickly Motivated by goals and results Positive, resilient, and coachable About the Role Admissions Counselors work directly with prospective students to: Understand their educational and career goals Help them explore program options Guide them through the admissions and enrollment process Provide support, motivation, and follow-up throughout their journey This role combines elements of advising, coaching, recruiting, customer service, and relationship management. A large portion of the day involves speaking with prospective students by phone, text, email, and in person. Successful counselors are comfortable making outbound calls, following up consistently, and creating urgency while maintaining professionalism and empathy. What You'll Do Conduct phone and in-person conversations with prospective students Build rapport and establish trust quickly Guide students through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment Maintain accurate and organized student records Follow up consistently and professionally Collaborate with a high-energy admissions team Help students overcome obstacles and stay motivated throughout the enrollment process What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Minimum 3 years of customer service, recruiting, hospitality, retail management, sales, advising, or relationship-based experience preferred Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Comfortable using technology and CRM systems Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Ideal backgrounds may include: Admissions Hospitality Retail leadership Fitness membership sales Recruiting Student services Customer success Psychology or communications backgrounds Schedule Full-time Some evenings and Saturdays required Benefits 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Flexible spending account Life insurance Growth and advancement opportunities Work Location In person - Miami Campus If you are highly motivated, enjoy helping people, and want to be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where your work truly impacts students' lives, we encourage you to apply.
