Job Description:
Shift:
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with a full Weekend Rotation once every 6-9 weeks/variable.
Working Location:
AdventHealth Orlando Weekend rotation: AdventHealth Winter Park Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships. Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community. Maintains productivity standards as defined by the department, through effective time management and clinical efficiency and adjusts work hours to meet the needs of the patients as required. Evaluates and assesses patient candidacy for inpatient rehabilitation, formulating and issuing decisions regarding acceptance or denial in accordance with established admission criteria. Recommends continuum of care alternatives for those denied admissions. Facilitates patient's movement through the program by providing proactive planning and creating solutions to ensure seamless care. Advocates for patients' ongoing and discharge needs. Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the business unit. Adjusts and adapts to changes in workload by altering working hours to assist in other areas as approved by the supervisor.
Education:
Associate [Required]
Work Experience:
2+ experience in respective clinical field [Required] Experience in a rehabilitation setting [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] OR Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) [Required] OR Occupational Therapist (OT) [Required]
Pay Range:
