Job Description

Enrollment Marketing & Communications Specialist Position Summary The Enrollment Marketing & Communications Specialist develops and executes multi-channel communication strategies that support student recruitment and enrollment. This role manages the full lifecycle of prospective student communications using CRM systems, digital platforms, and targeted messaging to drive engagement and conversion. The specialist oversees communication workflows, portal content, and admissions-focused social media, ensuring timely, accurate, and brand-aligned messaging. Working closely with Admissions, Financial Aid, and campus partners, this position supports enrollment goals through effective communication, content development, and data-informed decision-making. This position reports directly to the Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize CRM communication workflows, including automation, segmentation, queries, portal pages, and communication assets to ensure a seamless and personalized student experience. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive communication plans for all stages of the enrollment funnel (inquiry, applicant, admitted, deposited), and recruitment events, ensuring alignment with recruitment goals and key deadlines. Oversee and manage the admissions office social media, including content planning, posting, engagement, and performance tracking in alignment with enrollment and brand strategy. Develop and manage promotional assets for the enrollment office, including brochures, digital materials, presentations, and recruitment collateral, ensuring consistency with institutional branding. Create, edit, and manage engaging, student-centered content across multiple channels, including email, text messaging, landing pages, social media, print materials, and digital campaigns. Support the promotion and communication strategy for recruitment events, including campus visits, open houses, and admitted student programs, with pre- and post-event engagement plans. Monitor, analyze, and report on communication and campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions), using data to continuously improve effectiveness and strategy. Identify opportunities to enhance prospective student experience through improved communication strategies, personalization, and emerging digital tools. Collaborate with key offices around campus to support current student communication efforts in the enrollment process. Ensure alignment with institutional branding Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in enrollment marketing, admissions, higher education, or a related field Experience working with a CRM system Demonstrated experience developing and managing email, text, and digital communication campaigns Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tones for different audiences (students, families, counselors) Experience managing social media accounts for an organization or brand, including content planning and performance tracking Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including segmentation, personalization, and basic analytics Experience using marketing and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable communication strategies Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience collaborating across teams and working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment Young Harris College does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local, law.
