The Enrollment Counselor serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the enrollment process while building strong relationships with community partners and representing BVU throughout the region. Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, counseling them from initial inquiry through application and, in some cases, beyond. Conduct daily outreach and follow-up with prospective students via phone, email, text, Microsoft Teams, and other communication channels. Maintain strong proficiency in BVU's customer relationship management (CRM) system by ensuring accurate data entry and detailed documentation of student interactions. Support recruitment events, fairs, and virtual activities, representing BVU in a professional and student-centered manner. Track recruitment efforts and contribute ideas to improve outreach strategies and conversion outcomes. Collaborate with enrollment team members and provide support during events or colleague absences, including event coverage and student communication.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, or ability to earn a degree within the first three (3) years of employment. The cost of tuition to pursue a bachelor's degree is covered through BVU's Tuition Grant Benefit if enrolled in a BVU degree program. Proactive team player who is adaptable and willing to support team goals. High degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent service. Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Valid driver's license required. Personal auto insurance must include Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist coverage with limits of $100,000 per occurrence / $300,000 aggregate. A background check will be conducted on the final candidate. Buena Vista University is an EOE/ADA/Smoke-Free Employer.
