Job Description

Position Overview The Graduate and Online Enrollment Counselor serves as a primary guide for prospective students, managing the recruitment pipeline from initial inquiry through successful enrollment. By assessing academic eligibility and articulating the value of Butler University's career outcomes, this role ensures a seamless onboarding experience through close collaboration with campus partners. Ultimately, the Counselor acts as a dedicated advocate and resource, embodying the university's mission to provide high-touch, professional support to the graduate and online community. Responsibilities Manage the
Full Enrollment Lifecycle:
Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the inquiry, application, and registration phases to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Conduct Academic Evaluations:
Meet prospective students to assess academic eligibility and provide detailed consultations regarding program curriculum, career outcomes, and university resources.
Execute Multi-Channel Recruitment:
Implement proactive outreach strategies via phone, email, and SMS to nurture leads and meet strategic enrollment targets for online and graduate programs.
Strategic Relationship Management:
Foster collaborative partnerships with Program Directors, Enrollment Operations, and Financial Aid,o resolve student bottlenecks and facilitate timely admissions decisions.
Represent Butler University:
Lead recruitment efforts at in-person and virtual events, effectively communicating the university's value proposition to diverse audiences.
Data Integrity & CRM Management:
Maintain precise records within the Slate CRM to track student progress, manage the recruitment funnel, and generate data-driven reports for leadership.
Facilitate Post-Admission Support:
Serve as a bridge between admission and enrollment by assisting students with questions regarding orientation, financial aid and transition to academic advising.
Exercise Professional Judgment:
Manage sensitive and complex applicant situations with care, tact, and a commitment to service excellence, adhering to the university's core values and vision. Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education, recruitment and /or admissions. Demonstrated experience working in CRM platforms. Proficiency with MS Office suite of tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Valid U.S. driver's license and/or means to travel for recruitment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Slate CRM Experience in higher education, preferably in an admission, recruitment or student affairs Use of social media and web for student engagement.
