  • Full-time Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Admissions Director to join our team in a full-time position.
The Admissions Director will oversee the admissions process, coordinate patient referrals, and serve as a liaison between hospitals, families, and the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with admissions, insurance verification, business development, and relationship-building within the healthcare community.
Responsibilities:
Manage the admissions process from referral through admission Review clinical referrals and facilitate admission decisions Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations Develop relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, and referral sources Conduct facility tours and meet with prospective residents and families Support census growth through marketing and business development efforts Maintain knowledge of MassHealth, Medicare, and Medicaid programs Complete admission documentation and ensure compliance Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions
Qualifications:
Healthcare admissions, intake, case management, marketing, or business development experience preferred Experience with insurance verification, authorizations, and MassHealth preferred Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid Familiarity with skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or sub-acute rehabilitation settings preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
