Admissions Engagement Representative Cornerstone University - 4.3 Grand Rapids, MI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Organizational skills Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description SUMMARY The Admissions Engagement Representative serves as a key member of the On-Campus Undergraduate Admissions team, supporting Cornerstone University's mission to empower students to influence the world for Christ. This role fosters authentic relationships with prospective students through in-person outreach and digital engagement, helping them discern their next steps in Christ-centered higher education. Through local high school and community organization visits, social engagement platforms (including ZeeMee), and campus visit experiences, this individual represents Cornerstone with warmth, professionalism, and a strong commitment to student care, guiding prospective students and families through the enrollment journey.

Grand Rapids, MI Key Responsibilities Local Recruitment and Regional High School Outreach Represent Cornerstone University at local and regional high schools, college fairs, churches, and community events Develop and sustain strong relationships with high school counselors, homeschool co-ops, pastors/youth pastors, and community partners Travel regularly within the local and regional territory, including occasional evenings or weekends Generate prospective student leads and increases local market visibility Serve as a positive and professional ambassador of Cornerstone's Christ-centered mission Student Engagement (ZeeMee & Digital Platforms) Build meaningful, authentic relationships with prospective students through the ZeeMee social media app and other digital engagement platforms Respond to student inquiries with care, clarity, and a service-oriented mindset Foster a welcoming social community that reflects Cornerstone's mission and values Encourage prospective students in their exploration of faith, academics, and calling Track social media engagement and share insights with the Admissions team to strengthen recruitment strategies Campus Visits & Hospitality Facilitate individual daily visits, group visits, and special campus events Deliver and support engaging, informative campus tours and presentations centered on student experience and community Ensure each visitor feels welcomed, valued, and encouraged in their college decision-making process Partner with student ambassadors and offices campus-wide to provide a seamless visit experience Daily Admissions Operations Carry a full range of Admissions Counselor activities and provide additional coverage during peak recruitment cycles or staff absences Complete aspects of sales process, including follow-up communication and prospective student tracking Manage prospective student data and communication workflows Support enrollment events such as campus visits and yield initiatives Contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven team environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred Demonstrated commitment to Cornerstone University's mission and Christ-centered values Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills Familiarity with social platforms and student engagement tools Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally and regionally Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Attributes Relational, approachable, and student-centered demeanor Ability to engage Gen Z audiences with authenticity and professionalism Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to serve where needed Confidence in speaking with individuals and small groups Expected Impact Strengthen local recruitment presence and partnerships with a strong representation and visibility in local and regional high schools Contribute to a welcoming and impactful campus visit experience Actively participate with the admissions team in achieving enrollment goals with excellence and integrity Cultivate meaningful connections with prospective students that reflect Cornerstone's mission
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active Christian commitment. A theology that supports the values and mission of Cornerstone University core commitments evidenced by an ability to affirm and sign the university's doctrinal statement, "The Cornerstone Confession."
