Job Description

Catholic Charities of Long Island models the love of Jesus by offering dignified and compassionate care to poor and vulnerable neighbors of every faith and background. In-person service at more than 50 sites throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties is inspired by the Gospel call affirming the sacredness of every human life. CCLI is looking for an On Call Addiction Treatment Counselor with a generous heart and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island. Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group sessions, provide psycho-education to clients, screen and assess clients, offer treatment planning and discharge planning. Perform intake and admission activities for clients accepted for admission based on the regulations of the OASAS Part 820. Maintain client chart documentation. Provide client education on medication assisted treatment and Narcan administration. Complete all regulatory reporting as per the OASAS Part 820, following admissions and discharge policies
For CASAC:
oversee CASAC trainees and CASAC-T Trainee Interns, and review program documentation as a qualified health professional.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED; Associate's a plus. Must have CASAC or CASAC-T. Ability to work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus. Valid NYS Driver's license. Computer skills.
Work Schedule:
4 hours per week; flexible schedule
Rate of Pay:
$28 per hour = CASAC $23 per hour = CASAC-T This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
