Job Description

Purpose:
To recruit students to both years of the Bible Institute and to provide an accurate, consistent, and responsive application process; ensuring frequent communication with prospective students and parents. The Admissions Advisor will function primarily as both a salesperson and a customer service representative for potential students.
Core Responsibilities:
Recruitment Play a key role in the recruitment of potential students by traveling and promoting Word of Life to prospective students. Network with Christian leaders and organizations to ensure representation of Word of Life Bible Institute at a wide range of external venues including but not limited to conventions, conferences, college fairs, camps, and concerts. Be prepared to occasionally speak at various events throughout Word of Life specifically, about the Word of Life Bible Institute. Ensure representation of the school at a wide range of external venues including but not limited to conventions, conferences, college fairs, camps, and concerts. Participate in recruitment events at all Word of Life camps that occur at the campus he/she works at. Participate in numerous Campus Preview Days events throughout the school year. Host campus visits throughout the year, including tours of the campus Enrollment Follow up with prospective students using every possible means (texting, social media, phone, mail, and email) to lead them through the application process. Ensure the accuracy of all student application documentation. Professionally handle sensitive and private information Facilitate the process of 1st year retention. Assist the Financial Aid Department in clear communication with students about expected payments, loans, and scholarships. Miscellaneous Fulfill common Bible Institute responsibilities. Assist with the registration and orientation of new students. This job requires the staff member to be able to lift boxes that weigh up to 30 pounds on occasion. It may also require bending, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, grasping and repetitive motions
Qualifications:
A clear-cut personal testimony of faith in Christ Agreement with Word of Life's vision, mission, Statement of Faith and Standard of Conduct. Bachelor's Degree in related field At least one year of sales experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Strong relational, organizational, and communication skills Strong relational focus Ability to switch between task-oriented and people-oriented based on the scenario Willingness to travel and recruit students in various venues throughout the country
