Job Description

Biblical Principles and Expectations:
All employees proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their employment, and thereby further Malones mission to provide students with an education based on biblical faith in order to develop men and women in intellectual maturity, wisdom, and Christian faith who are committed to serving the Church, community, and world. I. University OverviewMalone strives to provide an education that produces graduates with a love of truth and a vibrant, mature faith. Our intent is that students attain the wisdom, knowledge, and skills necessary to serve, engage, and transform the communities in which they live and work. To this end, we provide the curricular and co-curricular context in which to pursue the following educational goals: Understand and critically engage those bodies of knowledge and cultural influences that have shaped the world; Understand the biblical, historical, and theological foundations of the Christian faith; Think critically and creatively and communicate effectively in multiple contexts; Attain expertise in at least one profession or academic discipline and lay the foundation for meaningful work or further studies at the graduate level; and explore the implications of the Christian faith for all areas of living, including intellectual, spiritual, and community pursuits.

II. University ExpectationsMaintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus ChristFaithfully upholds Malone in prayerParticipates in community worship as schedule permitsDemonstrates behavior aligned with Malones Mission, Foundational Principles, Doctrinal Statement and its Communitys General PrinciplesEffectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influenceIII. Job SummaryThe purpose of this position is to promote Malone University, provide detailed information on our programs, and help students understand admission requirements and procedures. IV. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages assigned territory and prospective student pool through phone, e-mail, texting, social media, cards, letters, and personal contacts for the purpose of increasing inquiries, applicants, and enrolled students; meeting enrollment goals for their territory.

Interviews and evaluates admissions candidatesAnswers questions and advises prospective students of procedures and requirements for admissionsSchedules and represents the university at college fairs, youth conventions, church visits, and high school visitsAssists with and participate in all Admissions campus eventsAssists in the entry and updating of prospective student data in the database/CRM system Follows up with prospective students to answer questions and encourage completed applicationsInteracts and works effectively with diverse constituencies, including faculty, academic deans and senior administrators, admissions staff members, students, parents, guidance counselors, youth pastors, pastors and alumni. Other duties as assigned V. Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations, and with conference rules and regulations regarding the recruitment of athletes.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related programsAbility to collaborate with othersExcellent organizational management skillsAbility to work through complex issuesAbility to manage multiple projectsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to collaborate with a wide range of peopleProfessionalismAbility to problem solve VI. Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in Education, Counseling, Sales, Marketing, or related fieldPrevious experience in college admissions, counseling, or related field preferred VII. Working Conditions / Physical DemandsWork generally conducted in an office environmentLight lifting on an infrequent basis (up to 25 pounds)Flexibility in work hoursweekends and evenings. More hours will be required at key times during the recruitment year to complete the job.

Must be able to travel in order to represent and promote the educational opportunities provided by Malone
