Full Job Description MISSION:
To educate Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ.
SUMMARY:
The Visit Coordinator & Admissions Counselor is a key member of the Admissions team, responsible for coordinating all campus visit experiences, serving as the primary admissions liaison for incoming first-time freshman athletes, and be the primary lead for the Enrollment Management Events. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the prospective student experience and ensuring effective communication and outreach to prospective student-athletes.
CAMPUS VISIT COORDINATION
Develop, manage, and execute the campus visit program for prospective students and families, including daily tours, group visits, and special visit events. Coordinate with campus partners (faculty, coaches, student services) to provide engaging and informative visit experiences. Manage visit schedules, confirmations, and follow-up communications through the admissions CRM system. Analyze visit data to enhance the quality and effectiveness of campus tours and events.
ADMISSIONS COUNSELING
for
STUDENT ATHLETES
Serve as the primary admissions counselor for incoming first-time freshman athletes, providing guidance through the application and enrollment process. Collaborate with athletic coaches to support recruitment efforts and ensure timely processing of athlete applications. Stay informed about NAIA compliance regulations and work closely with athletics staff to align admissions and eligibility requirements.
EVENT PLANNING & COORDINATION
Lead planning and execution of all major admissions events, including open houses, campus tours, and off-campus recruitment events. Help with the planning and logistics of Warrior Welcome, the new student orientation program, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience for incoming students. Develop event timelines, coordinate with campus partners, organize event details, and lead the execution of enrollment events.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent the university at high school visits, college fairs, and recruitment events as needed. Participate in Admissions Office meetings, training sessions, and campus committees. Assist with the execution of major admissions events, including open houses and orientation programs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of university programs, admissions policies, and financial aid opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree required Graduate of Corban University/Corban College/Western Baptist preferred Should be familiar with Christian higher education and have an understanding of the atmosphere and culture Evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle consistent with the university's mission as described in the institution's Statement of Faith Candidates should value an environment that reflects the diversity of God's kingdom, engages in global concerns and connects culturally.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Traditional office environment. Travel and weekend/evening work related to marketing events and admissions recruiting calendar required. Long-distance driving may be required as related to travel. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds to transport and set up displays.
