International Travel and Immigration Forms and Resources Policies Retirees & Employees Planning to Retire HR Staff The Admissions Counselor performs a wide range of entry-level admissions duties including the management of all aspects of in-person and virtual (online) recruitment work for an assigned territory, such as:

• representing the College at college fairs and high school visits
• acting as the Lafayette liaison to school counselors
• conducting interviews and group information sessions
• evaluating admissions applications
• developing and maintaining relationships with students, parents/guardians and community-based organization/independent counselors In addition to significant contact with external constituents, the professional in this role will serve on and potentially lead a number of internal teams that advance the larger enrollment division's cause as an energized and goal-oriented operation.

The successful candidate must hold a bachelor's degree and be willing to travel domestically and possibly internationally. A valid driver's license is also required.

• Extended hours during the academic year, including evenings and weekends (when necessary) are the norm.
• The team seeks a teammate with an appreciation for the power of a liberal arts education and who can effectively engage students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are expected, as well as the ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• A high level of energy and an excitement for young people and their aspirations for college opportunities are critical components to being successful in this role.

Preferred qualifications include:

• proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin
• be able to express a creative writing ability, specific event planning, statistical analysis, social media management and/or international experience
• possess an outgoing, personable personality
• display compelling public speaking abilities
• be an optimistic, solution-oriented team player The anticipated salary range for this fully benefited position is $47,250 per year.
