Position Overview:
As a College Admissions Consultant, you will work closely with students and families to guide them through every stage of the college admissions journey. This is a highly relationship-driven, strategic role that combines long-term planning, mentorship, and execution. Key Responsibilities Provide expert guidance on U.S. and international college admissions strategies, including school selection, application planning, and positioning Develop and execute individualized, multi-year plans covering academics, extracurricular activities, and personal development Manage student portfolios, including profile building, activity planning, and narrative development Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with students and families throughout the application process Conduct regular advising sessions and clearly communicate action plans and progress updates Support college list development using in-depth knowledge of institutions, majors, and admissions trends Accompany students and families on campus visits when needed Mentor students in developing academic habits, time management skills, and overall readiness for college
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree from a Top 30 U.S. university 4-5 years of relevant experience in education, coaching, or admissions consulting Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple students simultaneously Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with both students and parents Resilient, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Passion for working with teenagers and making a long-term impact on their development Native or near-native English proficiency; Mandarin proficiency preferred
