Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Growth & Outreach Manager specializing in Substance Abuse Treatment to lead strategic initiatives that expand our community reach and elevate awareness of our vital services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive impactful outreach programs, foster partnerships, and develop innovative growth strategies within the behavioral health and addiction recovery landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of substance abuse treatment, social work, and behavioral health services, combined with exceptional communication skills and a proactive mindset. Core Responsibilities - Growth Strategy & Execution Develop and implement a comprehensive outreach and growth plan Drive consistent and sustainable client census growth Identify and expand new referral channels and market opportunities Align outreach efforts with organizational goals and capacity Referral Relationship Development Build and maintain strong relationships with: Therapists and private practices Detox and residential treatment centers Hospitals and healthcare providers Sober living homes EAPs and corporate partners Serve as the primary point of contact for referral partners Maintain ongoing engagement through follow-ups, check-ins, and value-driven communication Community Outreach & Brand Representation Represent the organization at industry and community events Coordinate and lead: Lunch & Learns Educational workshops Professional presentations Strengthen brand presence through consistent, mission-aligned outreach Admissions Collaboration Partner closely with the admissions team to: Ensure seamless referral-to-admission transitions Improve conversion rates Align messaging with client needs and expectations Provide feedback on referral trends and client profiles Data Tracking & Reporting Track and report on: Referral source performance Admissions and conversion rates Outreach activity and ROI Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (e.g., Kipu, Salesforce) Deliver regular performance updates to leadership Ethics & Compliance Ensure all outreach practices comply with: HIPAA regulations Anti-kickback laws Ethical standards in behavioral healthcare Represent the organization with integrity and professionalism at all times
Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in: Behavioral health outreach Substance use treatment marketing Healthcare business development Strong communication and relationship-building skills Knowledge of levels of care (Detox, PHP, IOP, OP) Understanding of admissions and insurance processes
Preferred:
Existing network in behavioral health or recovery space Experience with CRM systems (Kipu, Salesforce, etc.) Personal or professional passion for recovery Ideal Candidate Profile Relationship-driven, not just sales-driven High integrity and ethical mindset Strong emotional intelligence Self-motivated and results-oriented Passionate about helping individuals access care Compensation Structure (Optional but Recommended) Base salary + performance-based bonus tied to: Admissions volume Referral growth Conversion rates
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
