Intake and Admissions Counselor Sante Center For Healing - 3.7 Argyle, TX Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Customer communication Maintaining patient confidentiality In-person customer service Bachelor's degree Data interpretation Full Job Description This individual is responsible for assessing needs of potential patients and ensuring their referral to the service or resource to best address those needs.
Responsibilities:
Responds to inquiries from individuals, their family members, and other referral sources seeking treatment information. Assesses clinical and financial appropriateness of the clients based on information obtained during interview. Telephone coverage includes On Call coverage after hours and weekends as needed. Communicates facility rules and policies to patients and their support systems. Documents calls and relevant information on Intake forms including data entry of each call and updates. Provides alternate referral sources for individuals who are not appropriate for treatment at Santé Center for Healing. Meets with new patients upon admission to facilitate the transition process into treatment. Provide tours of the facility as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field required. Masters degree and Texas license preferred: LPC-A, LCDC, LMFT-A, or LMSW. 1 year experience working with individuals in crisis. Experience in working with individuals with mental health and/or various addiction issues preferred. For persons in recovery, you must have a minimum of two years recovery. In order to complete the essential functions of this position the employee must be able to do the following with or without accommodations.
