Job Title:
The Marketing & Admissions Liaison serves as the primary representative for the skilled nursing facility, responsible for driving census growth through relationship building, referral development, and community outreach. This role acts as a liaison between hospitals, physicians, case managers, and families to facilitate patient referrals and ensure a smooth admission process.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Referral Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, and community partners to generate referrals and admissions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all referral sources and inquiries.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase facility census and payer mix.
- Conduct regular site visits to referral sources and participate in networking events and community outreach. Admissions Coordination
- Evaluate incoming referrals, including insurance coverage, clinical needs, and level of care to ensure appropriate placement.
- Coordinate admissions process, including communication with clinical staff, families, and hospital teams.
- Facilitate tours of the facility for potential residents and families.
- Ensure a smooth, positive transition for residents upon admission. Marketing & Strategy
- Develop and implement marketing plans to meet census and growth goals.
- Assist in creating marketing materials and promotional campaigns (digital, print, community-based).
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and referral patterns to improve strategy.
- Track and report marketing activity, referral data, and census growth metrics. Relationship Management & Communication
- Maintain excellent communication with internal teams including nursing, administration, and business office.
- Build rapport with residents, families, and community organizations to enhance facility reputation.
- Provide timely follow-up on all referral inquiries and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred)
- 1-3 years of marketing, sales, or admissions experience in healthcare (SNF/LTC experience preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care guidelines
- Familiarity with SNF admissions processes and clinical levels of care
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR/CRM systems

Work Environment:
