Job Description

Under minimal supervision, responsible for administrative management and coordination of admissions functions and reporting support while ensuring the successful completion of the stated strategic goals. May lead or mentor lower level team members. Excellent verbal, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals including faculty, staff and the general public. Ability to take initiative and complete projects and/or assignments with little or no supervision. Knowledge of admission and academic requirements. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and use of general office equipment. Education Bachelors Degree is required Experience Three (3) years related experience is required Licenses & Certifications TACRAO (Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers) preferred TAAHP (Texas Association of Advisors for the Health Professions). Assist with the execution of on and off campus admissions programs. Maintains requisite records for budget and evaluation reports. Assists with scheduling and logistics of events, admission interviews, and Director meetings. Assists in the recruitment and evaluation of candidates for admission. May interview and qualify prospective student candidates for admission to undergraduate and graduate programs. Assists in planning programs and student recruiting events. Supports admissions efforts through preparation, updating and re-ordering of materials, and making personal contact with applicants. Advises parents and applicants about the application and admissions process. Monitors and manages the Admissions' web portal email account. Provides comprehensive advice to students at health career events on college and high school campuses. Provides administrative management and coordination of admissions functions and reporting. Serves as liaison with all organizations/individuals involved in the admissions process. Performs all other duties as assigned.
