Job Description

Tuskegee-Macon County Head Start/Early Head Start strives to empower our community and our families through meaningful partnerships and education. We are seeking to hire a Family Service Advocate . Are you ready to prepare our students for success?
ROLE SUMMARY
This is professional work for the purpose of recruiting children and familes, providing quality, comprehensive services to infants and toddlers and their families; providing support, training, and case management; assisting parents in meeting the needs of their children and enhancing parents' role as the primary influence on their child's education and development; supporting parents with family goal-setting; enlisting parental involvement; accessing support services; and completing data entry, necessary recordkeeping and paperwork.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or in a related field. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. Must meet criteria for background screening. Must possess or be willing to obtain a certificate in child/infant CPR and First Aid. Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule; possibly weekends. PERKS Comprehensive Health Insurance -
